"Expedia collected payment for hotel but the hotel also charged for accommodation. Contacted them, they admitted I had been charged twice, collected bank account details but never refunded the money"
"This place activities included, which is a plus. Unless you are able to get reservation available at mountain Lodge restaurant one has to cook their food, hence ga ing the super market is very helpful. Walkable from bus station and Abisko Ostra train station. If it's an activity that you book with someone else, make sure to have pick up option from your hotel in Abisko."
"It was a great place to stay. We flew into Kiruna from Stockholm and rented a car to travel up to Abisko. Easy drive and lovely place to stay for 3 nights. Went hiking and spotted the Aurora from our hotel. Overall good place for rest and recreation. "
"Great Staff! Great food at the restaurant! Just wish it were a bit closer to Narvik since transportation to the hotel can be difficult or very costly. Overall great stay!"
"Also we found that going in the last week of May was a bad idea because all of the activities that they advertised were actually closed for the season and even the skiing was not great since we only had 2 lifts open that only took you to 1 short piste run which only went half way down the mountain. probably going earlier in the season is less risky. We found that other that skiing there was not really anything to do.
There was a spa at the hotel but this cost extra to enter the spa area which...
"Ended up arriving later than expected to find no staff at the desk (beyond the 3:30 cut-off). Front doors locked and no answer on the phone to call. Turns out there were instructions (thru expedia) for the need to call if you were to be late. Once they called back (and someone let me in to the lobby) i was able to get a key to a room. After that it was smooth sailing. I was uncertain of the area around the hotel but as my stay progressed I realized it to be busy and safe. Surrounded by...
"Clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the morning is quite good. Restaurant at night with good food and service. No taxi options on the weekend to get to the airport so ended up walking the distance. "
"We had a very nice over night stop, the kitchen facilities were great!! The room was a little too small, no where to put clothes so had to keep opening and close suitcases but not enough space to leave them open. Had to put them against the room door and moving them each time we went out. It is an amazing location. "
"This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot."

"Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins.
We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com.
Otherwise, this hotel is great, most of the activities pick up at this location. The only other item to note is that this is not in Abisko proper. So if you need to get food from a grocery store, you should bring it with you or plan to walk to the store as there are limited transportation options once you arrive. "

Interesting things to look at near the port a couple blocks away. Overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast available each morning."

"Nice propertyt, near the town supermarket. This is a must during one stays, specially when most restaurants close after the summer season. It is also very close to the lake side if you come to Abisko to catch a glimpse of the Nortern lights where you can just walk over and have one of the best viewing area. The staffs are superb and very helpful. I highly recommend and I will stay here again should I visit Abisko again."
