Head upstairs and you’ll find two bedrooms. Ideal for families, both bedrooms have double beds. Both beds have comfy mattresses and plush bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible.
Both bedrooms also have en-suites. Modern and clean, both en-suites have showers, wash basins, and WC’s.
There is free on site parking for two vehicles on the driveway. Access to the parking area is quite narrow. Please be aware of this and take care when parking.

The Neighborhood:
82G Galgate is located in the historic market town of Barnard Castle. Featured within the Guardian’s ‘10 of the UK’s best small towns’, there is something for everyone here. If you love to shop, the town has many antique shops so treasure seekers will be in their element. There are also lots of independent stores which you wouldn’t see on the average high street. Take your pick of restaurants, cafes and pubs which serve lovely home-made food.
Barnard Castle is also known for its 12th century castle. The English Heritage property has great views over the Tees Gorge. You can try to spot Richard III’s boar emblem carved above the window in the inner ward or explore the sensory garden.
Getting Around:
The closest train station to Barnard Castle is Bishop Auckland which is served by trains to and from Darlington and Middlesbrough. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
There are a number of bus routes throughout Barnard Castle. Hop on the Arriva X76 or X75 which travels to Darlington.
