Love this cottage
We actually enjoyed everything about staying at this property. The host was incredibly responsive, the house is clean. It had everything we needed. Lots of sleeping space. We only wish we could’ve enjoyed the lake more. We had plans for most of the time, but it was serene, and I have definitely referred a couple of my friends to it for future use. If we come to Chicago area again, we will definitely stay here. The location was great as well, close to lots of shopping and restaurants, but yet quiet and relaxing.

Great place to stay
We had a fantastic stay at Amanda’s place. The home is beautiful, and right by water. It’s peaceful and has a fantastic backyard with beautiful lights! We used the kitchen through the weekend and it was well stocked. The only real issue we had was the smell in the water. Because the water is well water it has a fish like smell and so we opted to drink only bottled water though Amanda did assure us it was safe. One bathroom can also be an issue depending on the size of the group but our group of 5 was able to make it work. Amanda was incredibly responsive and solved any problems we had quickly. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quaint getaway!

We all had a wonderful time at the place. The house itself is wonderful, with comfy beds, lots of space, and a very well kept property. The neighborhood was welcoming and we all were really happy with the entire experience.
