"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. "The prroperty was beautiful and massive and the garden and pool were perfect. However the beds were so so uncomfortable and one was so old it had rusted through and completely collapsed. There was no cleaning equipment at all no way of keeping it clean except by buying everything - which we did. We had to leave it all there. There wasn't even salt or pepper or sugar or anything at all! We had to spend a fortune on essentials and then leave them there. When it came to leaving the host got angry...

When we did have an issue the owner and property managers were easy to contact and quick to respond.
