"The location was great, the windows of the room was not adequate. Only one of 3 windows could be open and when you open thw window /thwre was no acxess to walk from the bed. The AC was none existance and on 49F temp evening the room was 73F inside! They switch us to another room at 11pm, but temp was probably 70f blowing hot air . Their Wify was Very Slow!"

"Our apartment was definitely a lot more dated than the one shown in the Hotels.com pictures, so that’s a bit misleading. Second room with the bunk bed actually had no window for example. However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking. "

"The hotel is in an excellent location for travel in and out of Basel Bahnhof, and walking around central Basel. Service and the buffet breakfast are both very good. I had a cosy single room with thick window glazing to block most noise from the street below. I did not experience internal noise from other guests and slept well. The choice of eating options at the hotel and in it’s immediate vicinity is limited but there are great cafes and restaurants a short tram ride or a 10 minute away."

Book it, you won't be disappointed!

"I was in Basel for a business conference at the congress centre. I decided to book this hotel to be in the nicer shopping/restaurant district with a short tram ride (6 mins) to the conference centre and I'm so glad I did. Many of my colleagues at the conference were jealous of this location! This hotel was safe, clean, friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Very happy with this stay. I needed electrical converters and Ironing board and both were brought to my room right away. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat."

"The hotel was in an excellent location to explore Basel and access public transport. If you are attending the conference centre but want to stay centrally, the tram stop is less than a minute's walk with frequent direct trams. The staff were lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel! Literally across from the train station, so convenient for people traveling by train. The area around the hotel isn’t the most beautiful, but it felt safe, and overall much nicer than train stations in many other large cities. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Close to local bars / restaurants, access to transport links. Large, spacious rooms, small bathroom, no air conditioning, warm at night. Opened the windows but noisy street below, traffic until the early hours. Good breakfast buffet, plenty of choice but some items cold (hash browns) omelette not always available. "
