3/5 Okay
Not a remote getaway!
"Let's talk about the positives first. The place was clean on the inside, the beds comfortable, and the hosts were nice people. Wifi had no internet access so the TV was useless. The "full" kitchen had no oven. The "full" bath had a 1/2 size bathtub.
If you are looking for a private retreat, this is not it. The owners house is immediately to the left and another trailer/rv immediately to the right. The sitting area outside needed cleaning and the grill looked like it had been hit by a truck. Empty planters were in the corner and the host's bathroom window looked directly at it. The " pond" was not much more than a hole in the ground with what looks like a water feature in disrepair at one end. The fire pit area looked to have had no attention in a long time. It had rained very hard the morning of our stay and we had to wade water to get in the room. We read in room reviews about muffins, snacks and treats being left. We found a couple of bottles of water in the frig.
My wife and I appreciated the cleanliness of the inside but I feel the outside had not had any attention in quite awhile."
