"We went in June, unfortunately the window views from the breakfast area were blocked as they were renovating. But if you eat at the rooftop restaurant it is amazing view overlooking the lake area. The room we chose was a bigger room with separate bedroom and one added bed in the sitting area for our family of three. It was spacious enough to relax. "The Ambassador has a prize location and is an excellent property. But it has a problem with its east-facing rooms which look out on a street with a nightclub. Which closes as 8am. There's noise all night. Patrons exit to smoke and shout right under the hotel. Reception staff admitted many guests have complained to no avail. In Geneva, of all places, the hotel management should raise it with the local authorities. Swiss rules exist to put a stop to this nuisance. "
