Arrivés à pied (pèlerins)sous un violent orage, nous avons cherché durant une heure, cet agriturismo qui n'est pas signalé par une enseigne pour nous apercevoir que nous nous étions réfugiés dans une pièce en cours de rénovation. A cause de l'orage, le GPS nous a donné une mauvaise position. Nous avons regretté l'absence de repas et le petit déjeuner etait succinct. Devant notre désarroi parce que le restaurant le plus proche était à 2 kms et que nous étions trempés et frigorifiés, le propriétaire nous a emmené en voiture et est venu nous rechercher. Le lendemain matin, il nous a apporté un gâteau pour que nous l'emportions. Beau geste.

Costano - you should go !!

Sergio is a lovely host! Apricots, chocolate dolci, fresh lettuce, olio - whatever is took he brought! The mill work and tile work in this place have to be experienced. Very quiet, with views of Assisi, and resident cats to keep us company. 10 out of 10!

A Diamond in the Rough

This is a nice property (new) if you can find it. The directions bring you to a produce market in a dwelling on a busy street. The owners have no protocol for check in. We had to turn on the cell phone ($10) to reach him even though I had emailed our arrival time the day before. We were relieved to learn later that the building on the busy road was not the Agriturismo. We waited almost a half hour for someone (Marco's son) to show up and bring us to the property. It was about 1k from the produce market. It is a work in progress and will be beautiful some day when all the rubble has been taken away and the swimming pool and patio are in (1 to 2 years). Marco and his wife are kind people, speak very little English and do not really understand the concept of service for running an Agriturismo. It seems more like a hobby in their spare time. The apartment was comfortable and clean except that they did not have any living area to just hang out. Instead they had two bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen that was not well equipped, just the very basics. Despite the lack of service at check in we were otherwise happy with the accommodations. It would be less problematic for Italian travelers. The property is in a great location to visit Assisi and Santa Maria degli Angeles, a small town we never knew about with an incredible church and lots of good restaurants and pizzerias, very charming.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni presso l'agriturismo Bellarosa e ci siamo trovati piacevolmente a nostro agio.Il nostro appartamento era molto ben curato con una splendida vista su Assisi. Il casolare si trova in campagna quindi il relax è assicurato. La posizione tattica a 10 minuti da Assisi e 15 da Perugia è un valore aggiunto. I proprietari sono molto cordiali e simpatici. Ci torneremo.

Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, sie liegt nahe bei Assisi, Auto notwendig, liegt etwas abseits, sehr ruhiges Appartement, freundlicher Empfang, Süßes zum Frühstück obwohl Selbstversorger, s.gutes WLAN, sauber - jederzeit wieder
