Weekend away
This place was easy to find and spacious enough for two couples and a single to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were no issues!

Family vacation
We had beautiful weather, Battle Lake was low, a little hard with the pontoon, house is beautifully updated, good size, bedrooms are well done, yard is huge, deck is large, painted black, it got hot on the bare feet. Nice area for a campfire, easy access to the dock. Great parking.

Staying at West Battle Lake
Lovely property. All amenities provided. Quiet and serene. Management receptive to emergent needs (broken toilet/no hot water). All issues were resolved quickly. Thank you.

Disliked: Communication
Clean but overall disappointing
I messaged the property manager months ahead of time with a question about the property and never received a reply. The house and yard overall was nice and clean but the listing and photos were an inaccurate representation. The beach was full of weeds unlike the photos showed and a hot tub was listed in the amenities but there was no hot tub at the property. The WIFI worked the first day and that was it so we couldn't use any of the smart TV's when we couldn't be outside due to rain. Worst of all was the bed in the master bedroom. It was rock hard and we slept so terrible that we left a day early. The yard and fire pit were nice and the house had lots of space.

Nice house, really shallow shoreline
The house is really nice. We liked the layout of the main bedroom being on the opposite end of the house from the other bedrooms. We had some issues with appliances not working but they said they are replacing them so hopefully shouldn’t be a future issue. The neighborhood is really quiet & so close to the Glendalough bike trail. The shoreline is really shallow by the dock. This is great for kids to play in the water as they have a big area that is shallow. However, the lake has had lake itch really bad this year in the shallow water. We didn’t know this until the neighbor told us & by that time my husband had it bad & I had a little. Completely out of the property owner/manager’s control but definitely recommend taking precautions to prevent getting it. The shallow water also made it hard to keep our boat & jet ski by the dock. Had to anchor them out further & walk to them. We booked in the winter so didn’t realize how shallow it was until we got on the water this spring. Overall it’s a nice place.
