"The hand railing at the top of the stairs is pulling away from the wall and is not safe and secure. Could use some tightening up! There is no screen in the window in the upstairs bedroom with the twin beds. The evenings were warm and we would have liked to open that window for ventilation. We went to put orange juice on a shelf on the door of the refrigerator. Shelf crashed to the floor. It is broken. Not sure if it had been broken before. We apologize! Huge number of wasps under the deck...

"Our little Mesa home was perfect for the range of adventures we had planned for a long weekend. It was a great base camp to explore the Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, and exploring the Palisade wine country. The upstairs loft was great for our two younger children. We will definitely book here again for our western Colorado adventures!"

"This place felt so private. We were so comfortable in a well maintained home, while also feeling like we were camping in the middle of nowhere. Hosts were responsive and friendly. Also there were more beds than we expected with the pull out couches! So happy with our experience and would recommend to anyone."

"Chad and Tara's property was absolutely beautiful! It's in a great location close to Rifle and Glenwood Springs. Tara met us to check in, walked us through the property, and even baked us homemade chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift. We'll be sure to recommend this home to other friends and family wanting to stay in the area."

"We had the privilege of renting this property for our wedding. It was a quick drive to Vista View Events and an absolutely beautiful stay. The owner was so helpful and accommodating. This made for a very relaxing and enjoyable wedding weekend, and the perfect place for the wedding party to gather, get ready, and enjoy each others company! I can’t recommend this property enough for anyone visiting the area. "

"We were in town for a family reunion. My wife, dog and a couple of friends stayed in cottage B and my son's family stayed in cottage A. In hindsight, after seeing the property, I would have suggested to my sister who organized the reunion to hold it there. The property is beautiful and spacious. "Overall we had a pretty good trip I appreciated that the kitchen had plenty of supplies for cooking, there was lots of space for kids and adults to separate when needed and the hot tub was a nice amenity. It’s a quirky cabin that’s good for people who don’t need a lot of fuss! I would say the rental feels a little cluttered with toiletries and food left behind from previous guests, we did find some mouse droppings in some of the bottom drawers in the kitchen (kinda just comes with the territory)...
