"We had the rooftop suite and had VIP access during our stay. The resort is beautiful! Spend the extra money to go this route. You also get access to the more upscale cabanas. The buffet food was extremely subpart, so make reservations to restaurants ahead of time. The staff was incredible everywhere. If you're looking to do a lot of excursions, understand that many are located an hour and fifteen minutes away. We probably would've only done one if we knew that. Monkey land was our favorite...

"The hotel has a lot of public surfaces, which is good. The room we had was big enough for our luggage. There are no lifts, so if you have strollers, ask for 1st floor. The stuff is helpful, but not all of them speak English, which can be an issue if you are not speaking Spanish. The hotel restaurant has various food options to choose from, but it is expensive. The prices on the menu are excluding taxes , so pay attention. I would definitely comeback. "

"Went last week of April, so some rain. Ocean was great, with great snorkling right off the shore. We saw a flounder, rays, pufferfish, lobsters, plus reef fish. Coral is growing but looks young. Loved the excursions with viva, they had tour guides that spoke multiple languages. Staff was friendly. Room was basic but the grounds were beautiful with ducks, birds, and igunanas. Food was adequate but lacked flavor. Yes I would go again."
