"This was a very nice place to stay for our visit to Hannibal, MO. It was an easy drive back and forth. I loved the decorations in the home. There was a box fan in every room! I usually sleep with a fan. I forgot to pack mine, so I was very happy when I found it. My only suggestion would be to get a pillow top mattress for the bed. It was a little hard for me. Everything else was great!"

"Our family had the best time staying in the Yellow Rose! We loved the restored character and mansion feel. There's room for everyone, 2 pianos, lots of board games, a Wii, and a projector for movies. The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and the tankless water heater means we never ran out of hot water. Comfortable beds too. The game room upstairs was our favorite spot. "Traveled to the area for a wedding, and this home was just what we needed for two nights. It looks like they’re adding to the place to make it more homey. It was my husband and I with our four daughters. Having one bathroom was a challenge, but doable. The beds were comfy. It was very clean and quiet."

"This motel is more than 70 years old. The owners have made significant upgrades to a very old motel. Room looks nice upon entry and it was impeccably clean. The bed was possibly the best i have encountered in years. What you cant change are 2 foot by 2 foot showers, and a lack of heating controls during the cold months. It's an old central baseboard heating system for the whole operation. Staff was helpful and pleasant. This motel is a good budget option, but its still very old."

"I would give 10 stars if I could. I was foolish and left my computer in the room and then drove away. They notified me upon finding it. Kept in touch and sent the machine as soon as they could. I am using it now. The room was clean. The staff was wonderful. The water was hot. There is a place to eat next door. Oh yes, the Mississippi was beautiful too. We could walk down to the water's edge. Yes."

Girls Weekend

"A Great time was had by all. This was the perfect location to meet family members and have a quiet Girls weekend away. We had 6 adults stay in this location and we had plenty of room. The only thing that would have helped was a 2nd bathroom. With 6 women this was a little interesting but we all made it work. We knew when we booked that there was only one. We had everything that we needed and the kitchen was well stocked as plenty of towels and wash clothes for everyone. Very clean and would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your rental with us!!!"
