Mercure Bayonne Centre Le Grand Hotel
Hôtel des Arceaux
2.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (126)
"Not a great hotel. Their check-in closes at 7, I did get an email saying check-ins over Christmas would be closing at this time, but that was Christmas, not more than 2 weeks before!! Lucky I got there just before 7 then. The hotel is on a slope, no joking, you constantly feel you're going to fall over. I almost broke my back in their communal shower, the slippery surface made me slip and I'm not sure how I didn't fall over. HOTELIER - get an anti-slip mat! And while you're at it, do...
Hôtel des Arceaux
Hôtel des Basses Pyrénées
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (351)
"A 5* experience in a beautiful location with a fabulous room with balcony. The stylish interior design, a la Philippe Starck, and personal touches only added to the overall experience. The level of service was exceptional and the general manager Edgar was extremely kind, informative, helpful and compassionate, and all front of house, waiting and other staff were helpful and polite. The enclosed swimming pool (open 24hrs) and sauna were fab as was the breakfast buffet. An amazing experience. "

Temporesidence Cathedrale
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (292)
"I really liked this place. The room was clean, basic, one person, large bed. What really makes this place worthwhile is the location. All sorts of beautiful pedestrian streets lined with shops are a few steps away. The big cathedral is very close, abd is truly beautiful inside. I visited in July, and there were live bands and even an all male choir performing in various spots. Lots of good food, very pretty, and close to the river. If you want African or Moraccan food, go across the river to the...
