Lovely little cottage and a great place to get away from it all.
Lovely little cottage and a great place to get away from it all. Actually the size it looks in the pictures rather than being smaller like they usually are! One thing to note - no wifi, and poor mobile signal. This is exactly what I wanted, so I was very happy. Small shop in Kiltarlity (5 minute drive) and Coop in Beauly (10 minute drive), but nothing in walking distance (again, exactly what I wanted). The bed is perhaps a bit small, but it is very comfortable. Maybe I should just lose weight... Overall, fantastic cottage in a lovely spot and I'd be very happy to go back. The cottage is comfortable and clean. The location is really quiet and peaceful. Beauly is only 10 minutes drive away where there is a small supermarket and several take away sand it’s half an hour to Inverness. An ideal base for exploring the Highlands. Could have benefited from WiFi. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We spent a week at Dairy Cottage at the end of July and had a wonderful time. The cottage was bigger than we imagined and it was spotlessly clean and in a very quiet rural location. Everything we needed was included ie. toilet rolls, washing up liquid, hand sanitizer etc, towels, bedding etc and we couldn’t have asked for any more. The outdoor table and chair were a welcome addition so we enjoyed our evenings outdoors as it was so peaceful. If you are looking for a break away from the rat race and hustle and bustle then this is the perfect cottage. The only down side is that the bed is not as comfy as I would have liked but I still managed to sleep very well. Highly recommended and I’m sure we will return at some point in the future. Dairy cottage has the ideal location if you are choosing a quiet and relaxing holiday and is ideal for walking. We chose to have peace and quiet and that was exactly what we got we had our holiday 2nd week in March so was very lucky in the nick of time just before the lockdown started to come into force at the very end of our weeks break. I would very much recommend this cottage just ideal for 2 people and a very good size cottage the conservatory is a bonus too. Plenty of logs if required for the log burner we didn't need them as the central heating was more than sufficient lovely and warm. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again beautiful location 10 miles from Inverness and about the same to Loch Ness the other way. Look forward to returning in the near future. The cottage is a great place for a quiet get away & great place to visit places around and tour the highlands. But the comfort & equipment could be better: 1. bed mattress is quite firm - possibility of back ache after a week; 2. the seal on the fridge door is coming off around the door & the bottom plastic piece in the door, where you would put milk, is missing; 3. the small radiator in the living room doesn't seem to work either. A great place to go for a relaxing break.
A great place to go for a relaxing break. Cottage has quiet and peaceful location, a short drive off a quiet country road, just a couple of minutes' walk from the Beaufort Estate, and more challenging hill walks are only a relatively short drive. Would definitely go back
