"This is not easy to find - tucked away in the hamlet above Canfin. (Drive past Candin for 1km and there’s a sign on the left). The hotel has beautiful outdoor seating under a thatch and lovely walks around. But what makes it so special is the quality of the cooking - they do an evening meal for guests, with full use of local products, especially the chestnuts and figs. "The property is clean and in the middle of everything. Free parking on street. Restaurants everywhere. The two bad issues - hair dryer did not work and there is no thermostat to turn heater on as it became cold in the middle of the night. I had to get up and wear my jacket in bed. However, the property is good for the price I paid. I only stayed one night to start my Camino. A good place to start!"
