"Amazing place. Beautiful waterfall 200 yds away and a great restaurant nearby. You will be awoken to the sound of cowbells and a rushing river. Stay here!"

Situated on the mountainside , in a small quiet cluster of properties, its only 5-10 minute drive to 2 gondolas accessing the ski slopes. The skiing was great. The property is very clean and comfortable. We hired both the house and apartment below, which has an indoor adjoining staircase. The children loved the bedrooms in the eaves. We mostly self catered and had everything that we needed. Loved lighting a fire for the soapstone...

"Es war super -die Gegend ist perfekt- das Haus ist geräumig- leider ist die Deckenhöhe im Erdgeschoss zu niedrig. Das war so nirgends angegeben. Die Bäder sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß- dennoch hatten wir wunderbare Tage . Der Vermieter ist super nett und unkompliziert."

The beds were comfortable, and we had a room unlocked for us so that each person could have their own room. We appreciated the large dining room table and kitchen that had all we needed. Note: the garbage bags are under the Oven but we did not know that. Also we learned after our exit that we were to take all of our recycling with us when we left and drop it off at different places in the town....

Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. Make sure to stock up on basics like coffee pods and oil for cooking."

There were solid food options nearby, and walking into the main town area of Andermatt was only about 10 minutes. Highly recommend for travelers looking to ski Andermatt!"

"How cool is it to stay where the Goldfinger cast and crew stayed? We had drinks at the same table Sean Connery had dinner. The hotel staff was really friendly. The location was perfect, right in the village and only a two minute walk to the lift. We highly recommend this hotel."

"We were in Austria but the rains closed all the trains. We decided to go to the Interlaken area. Hotel Alpenrose was the only hotel that wasn’t double our budget. It is really more of a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel. It was a little bit out of the way but the trains are so easy in Switzerland than it wasn’t an issue. The ride back gave us time to get caught on emails and send pictures and texts friends and family. We would stay there again. "
