Garry was an excellent host. He was there in case you needed him, but not like a blowfly. He would have time for a chat if you wanted to, he was friendly, the brekky was nice with home made bead and home made blackberry jam. Garry recommended places to see and drew an easy to follow map (s) of how to get there.
We loved staying with Garry and Jill. Garry was great company and being a true local had great knowledge of Beechworth and surrounding areas. They accommodated all our needs. The breakfast was wonderful and the wood fire and electric blankets made our stay nice and warm on a cold rainy weekend!
Lovely B&B close to the main street, an easy walk from Bridge Road Brewers. Really nice breakfast and the people running it were really nice too! Recommended.
Very nice B&B located in quiet surroundings and friendly staff that looked after us well. The room was beautifully furnished. Nice environment and the beautiful town of Beechworth are within walking distance.
This B and B, was a short walk to the main street in a quiet location. The room was comfy and large with a nice bathroom attached. The room was uncluttered and tastefully decorated.
Jill looked after use well and cooked a very nice breakfast for us which was a great start to the day. This was our 4th stay here and we will be back.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Another couple were there at the time and tended to 'take over' the shared living space.
Our hosts Garry and Jill made us feel like we were part of their family, they were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and service we received was fantastic
advertised as a motel but it actually a B&B. was hesitant at first when we arrived. But Gary (owner) couldnt have been nicer .Most welcoming and a very peaceful surrounding...Brekky was just yummy and brought into us. I could go on but really if you are in beechworth then it really is worth the stay.
There are no words to describe the hospitality given to us by Gary & Jill over the weekend. The room were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was soooooo comfortable. Gary met us and showed us around and informed us about breakfast.....can't beat a hot cooked breakfast brought to your room in the morning!!! It was delish and piping hot and made with love. The walk to the main part of the town was only 5 mins away and a walk to the beautiful scenic gorg only about 15mins on foot. Absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you Gary and Jill :)

Disappointing
Booked for a king room but on arrival, given a queen room. No valid reason and no refund for cheaper room. Bathroom ceiling covered in cobwebs. Won't go back again
I'm not usually a B&B stayer, but this was a pleasant change to hotels.Stayed two nights to get a look at the town. I think I was expecting a more heritage like building so the modern suburban location was a surprise. Still it had good in-room facilities and friendly hosts, and was good value for money. Importantly, the bed was very comfortable, there was in-room split airconditioning, and ensuite with a great shower.
I'd happily recommend it.
This B&B is great. The hosts went out of their way to be most welcoming and hospitable. The fire in the common room was great and the breakfast alone was worth the visit.
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Great deal; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
Beautiful gorge walk and swimming hole. Fabulous food, coffee and brewery nearby.
