"I was checking in late. The front desk called to coordinate with me and was accomodating. The furnishings were older and worn, but everything was clean and the linens were fresh and soft. It was nicely decorated and pretty. Everything was well maintained and they even had an electric blanket. I only needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours. "We recently stayed at the Riccarton Motor Lodge for only one night before we left for our road trip round the South Island.
