The Homestead at Watts Farm 1920s Farmhouse

Welcome to The Homestead at Watts Farm!

This farm as been in the Watts Family for over 50 years. It has been a place to gather, rest, and connect with family. We welcome you to bring your family to our family farm!

The Homestead sits on over an acre, surrounded on three sides by the 35 acre Watts Farm. The Homestead was built in the 1920's by a local builder, as his private residence.

THE SPACE:
The Homestead was recently restored in keeping with its original character, along with modern upgrades; including the restoration of original shiplap walls and ceilings! The farm house is comprised of three large bedrooms. The downstairs private suite boasts 11 foot tall ceilings, a stand alone tub, and unique shower wet area. There are two upstairs bedrooms each with a queen bed and twin daybed. Enjoy a book from our collection, in the child's reading nook at the top of the stairs as well as a shared spacious bathroom. Downstairs offers a large open dining and living room, along with a cozy sunroom off the kitchen. The kitchen is fully furnished with full size appliances for your use.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests are welcome to the entire fenced acre surrounding the farm house. There is plenty of manicured lawn and large shade trees for your family to enjoy!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Part of the rural charm of The Homestead, is the adjacent railroad line. During the day, you can sit on the porch and watch the trains go by. At night, we have provided sound machines in each room, to offset any noise.

Please be aware that The Homestead is within visual distance of the railroad line and within earshot of the train horns.

Due to a last minute surgery, I was unable to stay at the rental. However, the other 3 adults said the home was lovely and would stay again. The owner communicated well about the closeness of the train tracks and my brother said it was pretty close, however, they brought earplugs to help with any noise issues.
