This is a very spacious house with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom that has a walk in bathtub with spa jets. The swimming pool is very private with a covered patio, a BBQ Grill, and patio furniture with table. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom. The house is situated beside Black Bayou Reservior, which is locally known as a great lake for the fishing of many species of panfish and gamefish. There is also a public boat launch that is literally two minutes from the front door. There is also a game room with a pool table, chess and checker boards, a Jenga Giant JS6 game that stacks over 4 feet high! And various board games such as Monopoly and Risk. There are three casinos, Margarittaville Resort Casino, Bally's Shreveport Casino and Hotel, and Sam's Town Hotel and Casino which are riverboat casinos that are 23 minutes away, situated on the Red River which runs between the two cities of Shreveport and Bossier. There are many restaurants and night life venues surrounding the downtown casino area. For those of you that enjoy playing the ponies, Louisiana Downs is located just 19 minutes away in East Bossier City. A new Willis Knighton hospital has been built just minutes away to the south on Airline Drive. This area is growing fast and there are quite a few new restaurants that have been built very recently. All in all, this home is very nice in comfort and location.

ATTENTION: For Security Purposes, there are two security Cameras. One is located at the front entry and the other is located at the swimming pool area by the back door. The swimming pool area camera will be aimed at the wall while guest are present. The swimming pool camera may occasionally be used early in the morning very quickly to monitor the water level of the swimming pool. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us! This camera will never be used to monitor our guest unless there is a disruption complaint from a neighbor.

Poolside Family Fun
Upon arrival, access was very easy and house was perfectly clean and ready for our group. There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Pool was cleaner than what you will find at most hotels. With a large group, trips to the grocery store were often, and there was a new, nice grocery store within 3-4 miles from the house. We ate at a local Mexican restaraunt that was fabulous! If you don’t want to cook meals, there are plenty of good places nearby to eat. John was quick to respond to my texts, and was very helpful. He was very nice as well. I highly recommend this house for large groups. Only thing I recommend is to maybe spend some money on better quality cooking pans and cooking utensils. Also, I found no bake ware. Luckily, I brought plenty of foil pans for baking.

Seven college friends that still love a pool party after 45 years! This spacious house was perfect for our big group. The pool is why we came but the whole property was just what we needed. John, it’s an amazing host. We will most certainly be back.

The house is bigger than what it looks online. Plenty of room. Comfy beds. Lots of games to play and a very clean swimming pool. It was perfect for our family. Communication was quick with John, the owner. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect!
Attended rehearsal and wedding at Sainte Terre. Perfect house location for access to wedding venue, grocery store, and places to eat. The house is designed to comfortably accommodate a family group. Everything we needed was there and easy to use. The house was spotless and we felt at home. If we are ever in or around the area again we will be sure to stay here if available.

Overall this house was nice. However, I am a VRBO homeowner and I’d like to give some suggestions. If you advertise a ‘sleeps 12’, you should have kitchen accessories for 12. We only had 7 large plates, 9 dinner forks so we had to buy paper products. Absolutely no kitchen utensils except for 2 whisks. No bowls no cooking utensils and no extra toilet paper. Trust me, we searched. I would suggest a new cleaning crew as well. Other than that the stay accommodated our family.

Great location
I was looking for a place close to Saint Terre for a wedding we were attending. This was the perfect place for me and my family. Very clean and spacious enough. I like the split house design. Property Manager was always available within minutes if I had a question. I highly recommend this house.

Another Fantastic Stay!!
This is the second time our large group stayed at this home. We enjoyed every minute. As before, the house is well maintained and was clean upon arrival. The swimming pool was warm and so pleasant to splash around in. The pool table was used a good bit of the time during our stay as well. The house is spacious and and accommodated our group. The ages ranged from 6 to 61. We all enjoyed our time!

Perfect Family Location!
We had a great time and the home was absolutely perfect for our needs. We had mostly adults and older teens and an 11 year old and a good time was had by all. Everyone enjoyed the pool, pool table, and other games provided. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and there was plenty of space to spread out among our group. You can get to a nice grocery store within 5 minutes for any food you need to stock up on during your stay. Highly recommend! If we are ever back in the area we hope to stay again.
