"Beautiful Geoffrey Bowa- designed boutique hotel set in a beautifully tended garden. This is our second stay & it didnt disappoint. The staff remembered us after 4 years! Very good service, excellent breakfasts & evening meal. There is a train line running along the bottom of the garden and the train clanks along it every hour or so. We loved the quirkiness of it. "Lovely building, nice staff and good food but do not allow the hotel to put you in room 3. It is a tiny room and has a living area which is not enclosed! It is full of insects and is stiflingly hot. As we were only staying one night, we put up with it and suggested to the manager when we left that they should not be marketing a room like that. He said all the right things but it did feel as though the next unsuspecting guests were about to arrive. Do stay here but do not have room 3. "
