"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel."

One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! "We stayed 4-nights in a beach view room on the first floor. Room was a good size and well appointed with large patio area for relaxing. The property had lots of relaxing lounges including library and a small gym. The pool had sun loungers that could be transferred to the beach if preferred. Pool was lovely and refreshing after walks along the beach. Direct access to the beach, across the local railway line (local train passes around once an hour - this didn’t impact our stay at The Long House). Walk into Bentota via the beach was about 20-minutes or 5-minutes in a Tuk Tuk. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay. "
