"Great Hotel, The only thing I didn’t like was the 90 euros I was charge for the city taxes, the hotel must let the guest know about that ahead of time. "

"We really enjoyed being by the water and layout of our room, which included a kitchenette and separate seating area. The staff were all excellent as well. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to the downtown core, so if you prefer to step right out of your lobby into the hub, it may not be for you, but we found the location perfect. It gave us the opportunity to see the Amsterdam port in action, watch the barges, there was an extensive walking/cycling trail system right outside our door, and it has a great waterfront patio. "

"The location cannot be beaten. The hotel forms a triangle with a large supermarket and Zaandam train station, an easy 2-3 minutes walk to both. Zaandam is two stops from downtown Amsterdam, a 12 minute train ride, to live in quiet, beautiful surroundings at a third of the price of downtown. It’s a no brainer. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, peaceful, the staff were always cheerful and helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat."
