Motel 6 Portland, OR - Central
10/10 Excellent
"Best staff work here. They are always the nicest!"
"What a spectacular house! My room on the 3rd floor was big, and it was connected to a private balcony accessed through french doors. The woodwork and stained glass in the house was gorgeous. I was sad to leave"
"The staff at the hotel may have been the friendliest hotel staff I have ever been around. They would greet me when I was coming in or leaving, open doors for me, and seemed to remember me. "
"Wonderful location on Division near great eating and fun shops. Walking distance to Hawthorne atop! Like a classic “bed and breakfast.” bonus for long stays: free washer and dryer! Friendly staff, comfy rooms (tho we were in the basement, not the best view)."
"I was so excited to stay in this charming tiny home. I have never stayed in a tiny home before and was not sure what to expect. First impression I was immediately wow’d by the aesthetics of the home. Photos are accurate and straight out of Pinterest. Adorable! However, there were more ‘cons’ than anything. There is an apparent ant problem with visible ant traps in the corners and windowsills of the home. We saw several ants during our stay and made sure our luggage was off the floor. Wasps. We killed two wasps during our 1 night stay. Oh, and the washer….we were excited to finally wash our clothes after returning from Cannon Beach. The whole entire house vibrated during the entire wash cycle. It was very loud and shook the entire home. We wondered if the neighbors are questioning what is happening inside this little home?? We had to remove the glass and ceramic cups off the shelves in case they came tumbling down. The shower was great; hot water and decent water pressure….BUT it smelled like someone urinated in the shower and there were hair clippings on the shower wall from the previous guest. No microwave and we couldn’t figure out how to use the electric stovetop. There were no instructions for the stove and we gave up after pushing several buttons and hearing constant beeping….so we ate cold leftovers. We stayed here for less than 24 hours, so it is what it is. Many improvements need to be made. I would not stay here again. "
