I enjoyed my weeklong stay at the Marriott Berlin City Center. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous; the lobby is tastefully decorated and comfortable to lounge in for a drink or two after an eventful workday. Special shoutout to Michael, the hotel’s manager, for a surprise drink voucher during the week too! That was very kind. I look forward to staying here again on my next business trip.

After checking in I found out that the restaurant and the coffee shop are closed during my entire stay (a week). The temporal dining space is by the entrance/reception and was not comfortable. Room was clean but there are almost no toiletries or water bottle available. Reservation was not flexible for my request of change of stay and it was very disappointing. Staffs were nice, the location was convenient. Overall it was lower than the minimum I expected, I would not return and would not recommend to my friends.

A very nice hotel and conference location. A bit outside the restaurant areas, but quiet and safe. Breakfast was first class, and so was the lunch. The hotel bar was OK. Clean, spacious and nice room. I arrived a couple of days before my conference and tried to discover Berlin by foot. Checkpont Charlie was not too far away, but museums and other attractions took some time to visit. Great hotel, a little off.
