The bathroom smelled SO AWFUL - like deep water damage or mold or something worse - and I permeated into our room. I alerted the front desk and they sent someone to “clean it”. It smelled a bit better for a few hours, but then was tight back to the rancid/sour/disgusting smell. Everything else was lovely. The location. The staff. All nice. But I wish they’d have moved us rooms- or never put us in there to begin with.

A good value between big chain business hotels and budget hotels. In a good neighborhood with good public transit links. Curiously, my room did not have telephone... I asked and the front desk clerk said he knew that but that "we are going to put some phones in soon."

It is with some sadness I am writing this review. Over the past 30 years when traveling to Berlin we have stayed at the Kempinski Berlin now called the Bristol approximately 20 times or more. It was the only hotel we would consider. Upon arriving this year since the outbreak of Covid for a 18 day stay, there was no doorman to greet you so if you do not catch an available person inside you will have to carry your luggage up the steps into the lobby. We checked in and we had a Deluxe Room which is a new renovated room. The room was nice with a nice bathroom and living space but with absolutely no view with a wall in front of our window. We quickly noticed there was no phone. So no room service and no one to call in an emergency. Surely an oversight? There was also a brochure on the desk talking about a new “Green” program where your towels are changed as well as your room being cleaned and made up every 2-3 days. We went to the front desk and was told there is no phone? After some discussion, the hotel did provide us with a phone and provided clean towels and cleaned the room daily. The beautiful bar area is now permanently closed. There is no more concierge. I now understand why Kempinski has removed their name from this hotel. It is clear the new management team has chosen profit over guest accommodations and services. Only because of the exceptional location I can only give this hotel a generous 2 star review. We are now looking for new home in Berlin for our upcoming trips

I had a lovely room, well situated in Berlin, but ruined by the extremely pricey breakfast which I ignored for an excellent local bakery. Such a shame. Evening meal menu was poor, but a glorious balcony to view the car chases on KUDAMM. I have stayed here many times, please revert to being the good hotel with the facilities one expects. Lovely swimming pool.

Wir hatten eine Classic-Suite für 3 Personen gebucht. Die Suite ist geräumig (1 Schlafzimmer mit Bad und Bett, 1 weiteres Zimmer mit Schlafsofa und Wohnraum) und bietet viel Platz. Der Standort des Gotels ist sehr zentral am Kudamm gelegen aber auch nahe an der Gedächtniskirche und dem Kadewe. Das Hotel hat allerdings ein Manko: aufgrund von „Nachhaltigkeitsgründen“ wird nicht täglich geputzt und auch keine neuen Handtücher (nur auf Anfrage). Das ist momentan eine Art beliebte und versteckte Sparmaßnahme in Hotels, um Kosten zu drücken. Allerdings sollte das in einem solchen Hotel nicht passieren bzw anders optimiert werden, schließlich befindet man sich in einem Luxus-Hotel und wohnt nicht in einem 2-Sterne Gasthaus. Auch wurden die Mülleimer in den 3 Tagen unseres Aufenthalts nicht geleert obwohl das wohl täglich gemacht werden sollte, laut eigener Angabe. Ein weiteres Manko war: Beheizung nicht ausreichend, eher kalt ebenso das Badewasser lauwarm. Das sind No-Go‘s für diese Hotelklasse und bedürfen unbedingt einer Besserung. Ansonsten war das Hotel wie auch das Personal ganz gut, ebenso der Scirocco - das Restaurant wie auch Frühstücksraum in der Ecke zum Kudamm mit viel Beglasung, richtig klasse. Wir hatten dennoch einen schönen Aufenthalt für 3 Tage in Berlin am Kudamm, aber eben mit Abstrichen - was in der Hotelklasse nicht passieren darf.

ツォー駅(Zoologischer Garten)から歩いて5分くらいの便利な場所にあります。 ポツダム方面にも行けますし、100番のバスにもすぐ乗れるので観光の拠点としてはいい場所だと思います。 近くにはレストランも多数で、食事場所にいい意味で悩んでしまいました。 部屋もキレイで高級感ありました。 スリッパとバスローブも用意してありました。 エアコンと冷蔵庫もありましたので、夏の暑い日でも快適に過ごせそうです。 設備は高級ホテルのようでした。 ただし、バスジェルしかないので、シャンプーとコンディショナーは持参必要です。(私は海外では常備してます) 朝食はパンの種類が多く、どれもおいしかったです。他のメニューはよくあるコンチネンタル イングリッシュブレックファーストみたいな感じで、十分だと思います。 市内中心部のホテルよりもかなり安く泊まれることを考えると、コスパはかなりいいと思います。 ベルリンにきた時はまた泊まろうと思います。
