Area itself was not that exciting but very convenient in terms of access to transport with the city only two stops away. Staff had significant language problems with both German and English. Had to correct some simple maths on the bill (they tried to bill me an extra night) and was told to get train to the city to find an ATM when there was actually one less than 100m away. Great value, despite staff issues and convenient if on a budget.

Nice location, we were able to walk to most places. Close to transport links. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a two bedroom apartment which meant we had loads of space. We would stay there again.

The elevator broke while we were staying on the sixth floor. We asked for assistance with our large luggage and they refused. By sheer coincidence a cleaning lady saw us and helped on the last floor when we were checking out. Otherwise nice facility and good for a place with a group.

Great location, dated facilities

The hotel is clearly aged and would benefit from some upgrades. The light switches were discolored, and the TV was very small compared to today’s standard. Overall, the interior feels dated. On the positive side, the breakfast was good with enough choice, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One downside is the lack of an on-site parking garage. Instead, guests need to use a supermarket garage located about 200–300 meters away. With some renovations, this hotel could match its great location and service quality.

We had a two bedroom apartment with kitchenette. The apartment had character and was clean, however if you are planning on cooking, the kitchenette was very small with minimal implements. The latch to the window was broken, so we were very concerned about setting the smoke alarm off. It was very noisy during the night and the beds were very firm. We did not opt in for the breakfast as it was 19 euro pp and there were three of us. Plenty of bakeries and cafes near buy. Went to the Indian restaurant connected to the hotel. It had fantastic reviews but in our opinion it was average. Laundry service was outrageously expensive which is the case with all hotels we stayed in in Germany. The wash box laundromat was excellent and not too far away.

Overall it was good, the hotel is nice and super close to the public transportation. In the last day we didn't get our room cleaned and in the afternoon we asked on that and they told that they will check but nothing.

Stayed here for 3 nights and whilst the hotel was comfortable and clean the 2 bed apartment was a slight let down, in that one of the bedrooms only had windows into a internal courtyard Also no air conditioning only a tower fan

Nice staff and great location.

Great location! 5 minutes from a metro stop, and even closer to a bus stop that takes to you some of the significant monuments in less than 10 minutes. It was a very calm and safe area. Restaurants and grocery stores close by.The room vas nice and spacious, a clean and great bathroom, so we felt very comfortable inside our room. The staff was very nice and helpful. I can highly recommend the hotel, and won't hesitate to stay there next time we are in Berlin. The staff was very accommodating, for example we were able to print our boarding passes for free. An extra bonus was that the hotel treated the guests to a bottle of beer and mineral water per night for free.
