Terrific location

Marina Hotel is a small pearl located with direct access to Starnberg See. Beautiful surroundings and nature. The hotel is a bit old, but well maintained. The interior needs to be updated. I enjoyed the breakfast at the terrace with an astonishing view over the lake. The brakfast buffet have everything you need. A minus for the fitness center that is unfortunately missing out exercise machines and weights. Nice and clean indoor pool area.

They blamed hotels.com that they were overbooked and Said that they didnt want us there. We booked 3 nights 2 rooms. They were rude and dis not take any responsibility. We got the cheapeast rooms but we still had to pay for the expensive rooms. No compensation at all. Rooms were very outdated. Our worst experience of a hotel we have had. We live in hotels all over the World about 70 noghts per year. Stay away from this hotel. Front desk manager was so wrong in her job.

Leider eine sehr große Enttäuschung!

Das Marina Hotel hat eine wunderbare Lage am See, ist jedoch schon in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt vernachlässigt. Das Personal ist nicht geschult, spricht zum Teil ein schlechtes Deutsch und versteht kaum die Fragen. Der Frühstücksraum ist für die Anzahl der Gäste viel zu klein und noch dazu nur mit einer Kaffeemaschine ausgestattet.

Die Zimmer sind schön groß aber deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die gesamte Anlage ist in der Dunkelheit sehr schlecht beleuchtet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal nett und freundlich. Beim Abendessen war es aber leider sehr unaufmerksam und kannte seine eigene Speisekarte nicht. Hier stimmte Preis / Leistung nicht.

Altes Hotel, aber Top Lage.

Super Lage am schönen Starnbergersee. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr alt und eine Renovierung wäre mal notwendig.

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen! Die Aussicht von der tollen Restaurant Terrasse und von unserem Zimmer hat das aber wieder wettgemacht. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant waren sehr gut. Sehr schade ist allerdings, dass es keine Möglichkeit gab Fahrräder vernünftig in einem Raum abzustellen und zu laden. Die Akkus müssen im Zimmer geladen werden - ein absolutes No Go in der heutigen Zeit! Aufgrund der Lage ist es trotzdem weiter zu empfehlen.

Wir wollten vor Ostern ein paar Tage Nichts tun. Dafür eignet sich das Hotel bestens. Unser Zimmer hatte direkten Zugang zur Liegewiese... Das Hotel bietet ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man wird regelrecht umsorgt.

Insgesamt etwas 70er Style, aber tolle Lage, das hervorragende Essen, wird durch permanente Missverständnisse des Servicepersonals, der deutschen Sprache nur bedingt mächtig, deutlich abgewertet. Das Frühstücksbüfett entspricht nicht mehr den Standards und ist auch unübersichtlich aufgebaut! Trotzdem für einen 2 oder 3 Tage Trip zu empfehlen!

Ein schönes Hotel auf einer weitläufigen Anlage mit direktem Zugang zum See. Ich hatte nur eine Nacht gebucht, weil ich zu einer Hochzeit übers Wochenende da war. Man kann das Hotel zu Fuß erreichen, das dauert vom Bahnhof über einen Feldweg 15 Minuten. Zum Schloß Höhenried sind es zu Fuß ebenfalls 15 Minuten, auch nachts ist der Weg sehr gut zu laufen und sicher (auch allein), allerdings sollte man ein Licht haben. Bei meiner Ankunft war das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig, was für mich sehr unpraktisch war (Umziehen, Fertigmachen), allerdings war auch beschrieben, dass meine Ankunft vor der Check In-Zeit des Hotels ist. Etwas mehr Flexibilität wäre hier toll gewesen, allerdings hat das Zimmer es dann wieder wettgemacht. Ich hatte ein ruhiges, großzügig geschnittenes Zimmer (411) mit einer Eckbank, Couch, Schrank, Minikühlschrank und Seeblick in Haus 4, von meinem Zimmer aus konnte ich früh direkt zum Wasser laufen - fantastisch. Morgens sah ich der Sonne beim Aufgehen zu. Das Bett fand ich sehr bequem; das Bad war zwar nicht brandneu aber sehr sauber und verfügte über Body Wash, Seife und Lotion. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und augezeichnet in Frische und Qualität, man kann toll auf der Terasse sitzen und ich hatte wunderbaren Blick auf die auslaufenden Segelboote und Sonnenschein. Das Personal war aufmerksam und räumte Teller direkt ab. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit empfehlen und auch selbst wiederkommen. Danke für diesen schönen Aufenthalt!

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til søen. Som hele dagen. Dejlig sø. Mange hvepse… og stor mangel på skraldespande. Ikke en eneste skraldespand i den store have. Dyr restaurant med dårlig service. OK morgenmad. Hotellet trænger til renovering. Ingen opladning til el bil. Gode parkeringsmuligheder.
