THE CABIN INTERIOR IS 11x14.  THE BATHROOM IS 8x8.

This property requires mobility. There are steps to the cabin, steps down into the hot tub, and a lengthy staircase to the river, with a somewhat challenging shoreline.

The river access does provide a reasonable area for lounging in the water.  Typically 4’ deep in summer (low water conditions).  The Kings River is free-flowing, therefore, the river can be in flood stage at times, eliminating access to the shore

3 Person Maximum

Bed #1 - 1 Queen Sized Bed

Bed #2 - 1 Single Sized Bed (Located Above Queen Bed)

Bathroom - Full bath with tub with handheld showerhead

Kitchen: Mini Fridge, Tea Kettle, Basic Dishware, Basic Cutlery, Charcoal Grill outside, Each of our cabins comes equipped with a drip coffee maker, along with pre-portioned coffee and filters tailored for your convenience. Additionally, we offer creamer and sugar to enhance your coffee experience. Should you have a preference for a particular brand or coffee accessory, feel free to bring your own along for your stay.

IMPORTANT LOCATION INFORMATION:  The Hideout Cabins sits within 30 yards of the 'Dream Weaver Airstream".  The Airstream is permanently anchored in place and arranged to create an upscale 'glamping campsite' with a large deck and semi-private area.  The Airstream is lodging, but that area has its own private deck, and outdoor area. (The Dreamweaver is visible at a distance from the porch of the Hideout).   Additionally, the owner's house is located 100 yards in front of the cabin. The owner's house is not obtrusive. Note - The hot tub has a small privacy surround, although, the hot tub is not in a completely hidden location.

Stamina and Mobility are required to visit the shore of the Kings River - A significantly long staircase leads to the shore of the Kings River.  The entrance to the stairway is appropriately 100 yards from the cabin.  The bottom area of the shoreline is rocky (water shoes required) but this area of the river provides an excellent spot to relax in the water.

Ozark Hideaway—A Peaceful Piece of Heaven!!
The Ozark Hideaway is a rustic cabin set on a wooded property adjacent to the King’s River. Accommodations in the cabin were very comfortable and tastefully decorated with an array of vintage details that made you feel as if you’d stepped back to a simpler time. There is plenty of room to enjoy sitting on the porch, by the fire pit, or grilling dinner. Modern amenities include a nice mini-split HVAC that cools the cabin and a spacious Jacuzzi next to the porch; there is also an outdoor shower in a converted grain silo with an overhead rain shower nozzle. The on-site owner is a pure delight!

My husband and I wanted a nice quiet place to spend a few days alone well we spent the few days mostly in our vehicle because it was to hot in cabin . It had air conditioning but evidently it was not doing any good cooling the place down at all. The unit ran all night and all day the outdoor unit was mounted to the cabin where the bed was right on the inside and was very annoying loud humming all the time . I could go on but I’m done . We won’t be back to this place

The property and buildings are well kept. The host was communicative and helpful. We stayed a couple nights for a float. The hot tub was a nice addition.

A trip to yesterday.
Very nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the cabin and the surrounding area including the secluded river access. Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable of the various attractions and out of the way spots we would not have found without her help.

Great stay!
The cabin had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the private hot tub. The decor and thought put into everything was very nice. We enjoyed walking down to the river. The owner's house is right across the driveway so you face their house when sitting on the porch but they were no bother to us at all. It was a relaxing getaway!
