"Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Birentobel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Nadja persönlich zum Haus begleitet. Das Haus war bereits vorgewärmt, sodass wir sehr entspannt ankommen konnten. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, kein überflüssiger Schnickschnack, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein perfekter Ort, um abzuschalten und vom Alltag runter zu kommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

It was right next to the bus stop and conveniently located just South of the tourist activities. We enjoyed the apartment and the extra touches that our host put into the stay for us. "This is a breathtaking property. Rolling hills and turquoise lakes as far as the eye can see. Great communication with property owner. The only downfalls of this stay is the small bathroom and the fact that the upstairs neighbors can hear your every word. In fact, the upstairs neighbor came down one morning to let us know we were talking too loud (which was just regular conversation voices). All in all, this is a wonderful property. "The best hotel we stayed at in Europe. The views alone could give this hotel 5 stars, but the room was clean and nice as well. Check in was easy and the bus stop was not too far away. Although, you should be warned the first walk up with your luggage can be a bit of a battle, but we took plenty of stops to take in the view anyways."

Great location and hotel

"The hotel has a beautiful bar and wonderful restaurant. The views from the room were spectacular. Our room in the Schloss was huge even though we just got a standard double room. There was even a walk-in closet. The decor was very traditional and the bathroom was big but was done in an old fashion style with a long narrow bath with a shower attachment. More modern decor is in the outer buildings.They have an elevator so accessibility is good in the Schloss except for the restaurant where there are a few steps to go up. The reception desk staff were very friendly and could speak multiple languages. I could converse in English with them. The location is very convenient with free parking. It is a very easy walk over to the thermal baths in the Bad Ragaz resort. Walking to the town center took me about 5 minutes. The breakfast at the hotel which is included was terrific with many options to appeal to different nationalities. The restaurant in the evening was wonderful with an Indian buffet."
