"We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. Also parking for two cars. We took some wonderful trips in the area where many of the villages have thatched cottages. There is a post office and village shop close by and local pubs within...

"I wish we could have stayed longer! This house is all you need or want. Yes, it's of course narrow and tiny and just as the one bathroom like any older house, but it is so perfectly renovated and set up - it's a dream! The extra suite over the shed is awesome and very comfy. The walk into town is just 10min and my mum struggled a bit with the uphill on the way back, but it was a great distance that everyone in the party could just do their own thing at their own time. Everything was perfect. "

"This was our second trip to pigsty cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time. The gardens are immaculate. It is fun and relaxing to explore the grounds, smell the flowers, and watch the many forms of wildlife around the area. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The cottage is extremely clean and well organized. The layout and design of the cottage makes it a perfect retreat. The bed is very comfortable as well. Pigsty cottage is a wonderful escape. I wish...
