"The hotel is in a 16th century 4 story building, incredibly charming inside, made to preserve the medieval look but with all of the modern amenities. We stayed on the third floor in room 302. The room had exposed roof beams throughout, including the bathroom. The two things we didn’t like were the roof beams right above the bathtub/shower. Due to the extreme flooding, we were advised against the parking that was included in our stay. We were, however, offered a pick up and drop off service to any of the city parking which (P2 & P5) are a short walk away from the hotel. The deluxe room was on the top floor and was clean, homely and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of a high quality. Due to the fact we were in an attic room, the shower was difficult to use but given the age of the building and just for a short stay, it was manageable. The breakfast was great. A large assortment of meats, fish, cereal, fruit and drinks."
