Hugel Haus 8 at Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort

Recently renovated. This lower level unit has its own fireplace and small cozy rooms. The condo's prime location across from the Caribou Lodge and the Gun Barrel Lodge makes it a convenient choice. Dog friendly (new as of January 2025).

One bedroom with a queen bed, futon sofa in living room with a gas fireplace, TV/VCR. Sleeps 4. Table and chairs, full kitchen with small stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

Weekend At The Hugel
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very convenient to the wedding venue at Caribou Lodge. Cozy northwoods atmosphere. Easy check in & out. Personally, trying to do make-up and hair with the lighting in bathroom and bedroom was difficult to do, and the bed was way too firm. But overall good stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was as this location the last weekend in February-2024 and really enjoyed the accommodations. Very Clean...Only "slight complaint", the motor on the range hood didn't work so I had to take the battery out of the smoke detector when I cooked some bacon.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As in previous year, the rental was clean with all neecessary cooking gear, except for a potato peeler. The room was comfortable and the wifi work well. The loding staff quickly replaced the water cooler water when we asked. The location was excellent as we walked to the lifts and came back to the rental unit for lunch and dinner. We dicovered a few ladybugs in the kitchen lamp and left a note with the staff. We left our recyables (bottles and cans). We are unsure if these would be recycle. In the future, the unit should state if they could be recycled and if not, we would gladly take them home for recycling. Overall it was another good experience.

Always a great place to stay !!
