Welcome to The Rookery, your vacation home away from home in the town of South Bethany. This five-bedroom sanctuary, just a short walk to a private beach, guarantees you’ll make memories to last a lifetime. Step into the shaded and enclosed backyard, where you’ll find a grill and outdoor seating for dining al fresco and an outdoor shower where you can rinse off after your fun-filled day at the beach.
Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and an airy atmosphere throughout the space. Enter the home through the ground floor, where you’ll find a bedroom with access to the backyard, a full-size bath, and a laundry room. Upstairs, the main level, with a vaulted ceiling and wood fireplace, has an open floor plan with lots of room for family and friends to gather. This level boasts a fully equipped kitchen where the chef in the group will find all the tools needed to whip up a home-cooked meal or just a frothy drink. There’s plenty of seating for planning a game night or enjoying a movie night on the large TV. A cozy sunroom, just off the living room, has yet another TV and can be closed off for those who prefer a quieter environment. It’s the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee or a relaxing cool drink. There is also a desk and chair where you can catch up on emails using your device. The sunroom has a spiral staircase that leads to a small open-air deck on the third floor, great for catching some rays or just enjoying the scenery. This main level has three more bedrooms plus a full bath. The third level is perfect for a kid hangout with two sets of bunk beds, an attached full bath, TV, and access to the third-floor deck.

Private beach is directly across Route 1/Coastal Highway. Look for a sign for Sandpiper Village.
To use streaming services, guests must log in with their own credentials.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
