"We had a wonderful time staying at the villa in La Gaude! It is located in an incredible spot, perched up on a dramatic hillside. The villa and pool made us feel like we were in a movie! The house is funky and has a lot of spirit. Some of the spaces/bedrooms aren’t massive, but we all felt very comfortable. "We never got to see the property. I finally managed to get hold of the host on day before check in and she asked to meet us in Monaco to hand over the keys (Strange). When we met she said the house had a water leak & offered us a tiny Studio flat the size of a small kitchen for 4 men until it was fixed! The host handed the key for the studio over to one of the men, and because he took it we were deemed to have accepted a tiny studio for one person in lieu of a 5 bedroom house. I contacted Vrbo...
