A very pleasant stay, food and staff excellent, hotel very dated but they did explain they are closing soon for a refurb. I would definitely come back when it’s been upgraded.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! For starters, it is very quiet so you will get a beautiful nights sleep. It is also so close to everything in town. The rooms are very large. Our room overlooked the rooftops of the town, which was so charming. But what was most impressive was that, the head of reception, David, was so helpful to us when the car that we had parked in the garage Suffered a battery drainage and he was so helpful in arranging help so that we could move to our next destination in a timely fashion. We are so grateful to Davide and all of those who have helped the Hotel. I want to commend Davide and his leadership for his kindness and thoughtfulness. The next time we are in, we will stay at this hotel although we understand that in the next couple of months, it will change ownership. Hopefully David will still be there! Merci bien Davide!

Pleasantly surprised- enjoyed our stay!
I was apprehensive about staying here due to several poor and mediocre reviews but we truly liked the hotel. Parking is right underneath (extra fee) but very convenient. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the roof terrace and bar - at sunset the view is beautiful- and we enjoyed the breakfast (we got a discount - not sure it’s really worth €25 pp). There’s some excellent dining options right by the hotel, and the old port beach/aquarium are only a 10 or so minute walk away. We did experience some slow service/lack of attention at the lobby one evening, and once an unpleasant experience with the parking in and out service but other than that everyone was super friendly and helpful. The wifi strength is bad which was not an issue for us but could be for some folks. The pool is small and somewhat crowded so we didn’t use it…but that didn’t bother us at all. Again, we were very happy with the hotel and can recommend staying here without any hesitation!

The hotel is very dated but very well located, close to downtown and a great selection of restaurants. Unfortunately, the room smelled awful and the cleaning products used also are an odd smell. While the staff offered to change rooms, the second room smelled similarly. The internet is also really bad, we kept getting disconnected. No customer control over air conditioning. All together, the hotel is acceptable but definitely not a great stay due to dated looks (including the pool), poor internet, weird smell of rooms, very dated/ugly pool area, etc…
