The Neighborhood:
The apartment is centrally located and close to all of Westward Ho!’s best amenities. The beach is around a 10-minute walk down the hill, boasting over 2 miles of golden sands. It’s the perfect destination for surfers, swimmers and sunbathers alike. There even a natural sea pool with calm waters perfect for kids or swimming lanes.
There is plenty of entertainment for children and adults, whether it’s rockpooling, surfing, playing Crazy Golf or riding Go Karts. Walkers and cyclists can set off for miles straight from the door, following the South West Coast Path in either direction. In addition, the Royal North Devon Golf Club is also just a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive so you’re perfectly situated.
A 10-minute drive will take you to even more local attractions including Big Sheep and the Ultimate Adventure Centre. Plus, other lovely attractions in the area include Appledore and Clovelly, Instow, Hartland Abbey and Quay. You can also get The Oldenburg from Bideford Quay to Lundy Island. In the other direction, you can explore world class surf at the UKs first Surfing Reserve encompassing Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe. Getting Around:
For those bringing a vehicle, there is a private parking space in the driveway outside. However, you won't need to use it much, as the apartment is ideally situated so you can walk to most of the local amenities. There are also a number of local buses that run throughout the day to the surrounding area if you don't wish to use or bring your vehicle.
Other Things to Note:
Please note, the apartment is on the first floor and is reached by stairs which are fairly steep.
Please be aware that there is currently scaffolding at the front of the property but it does not impact the sea views, which are from the back window. It is expected to be taken down by mid May 2024.
There is an additional charge of £20 when the sofa bed is needed for bookings for 2 guests.
