"Truly peaceful cottage. Check in was so easy. The cottage was spotless - we really appreciated the toweling robes such a warm touch. The bathroom and kitchen were both sparkling clean. We were able to relax and take in the English country vibe. Thank you to our hosts who were so friendly and offered great advice of what to see and where to go. Thank you. We hope to be back next time we travel from Australia. "
"Excellent check-in and great staff. Lovely location to easily walk into Stratford, great outdoor area by the river. Comfortable bed and good sized room. Very busy in the hotel but service was still good. Would highly recommend it. "
"Great check in, friendly and informative. Food is delicious, I made the mistake of ordering a starter as the main meals are large portions and great value for money. My advice would be to order a main and if you are still hungry go for a desert but I doubt you will need it. Would highly recommend"
"Communications before our stay were excellent. A very warm welcome awaited us us in a cold wet day. Check in was an easy process and everything was explained thoroughly.
A really interesting hotel in a very historic building. Room was spacious and clean with an enormous bed.
Good facilities in the room with a well stocked mini bar.
Flowers ordered for arrival were fresh and vibrant in colour.
Complementary cheese and wine were served in the covered courtyard. Very generous servings and a warm welcome from the staff.
Dinner in the Tempest restaurant was great. Food was vey well presented and ideally portioned.
Breakfast has many choices and again food is plentiful.
Check out was swift and efficient.
