Beautiful hotel in a beautiful building. The room was amazing as was the view.
The only downside were some bugs in the room upon arrival which we killed and we didn’t see any more bugs after that.
The staff was always kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Loved the location right near the river and a short walk to the main downtown area.

Hotel Monopol is a beautiful hotel with lots of character. It's location is very convenient with how close it is to the main train station, but that also means there is train noise. The immediate area is a bit dingy as well. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a nice bathroom and fans to keep it cool. It was generally clean, except for a few key spots that were missed. The breakfast was generous and tasty. Our only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable.
