Just minutes away from Bear Mountain, Snow summit, and Big Bear convention. Newly rebuilt and upgraded chalet style cabin (no doors) . Comfortable beds and alpine feel. Plenty of parking for 4 cars and level entry. Easy to get to and great hiking to and around the nearby lake. Beautiful rock electric fireplace. We have security camera facing parking located outside only showing exterior of cabin.

The property was dirty, bathrooms had black mold, pillow cases had blood stains, cobwebs everywhere and dishes were greasy. Poor, poor place that feels like a health hazard. DO NOT settle for this place.

Summer at Big Bear Lake
My family and I had a wonderful experience here. Everything was perfect, we didn't have trouble with the cabin or the area, everything was close by and the views are beautiful.

Nice proximity to the lake which was nice. However was disappointed when we arrived by a few things. The upstairs loft area (where you sleep) gets direct sunlight and was very very hot with no air conditioner. When we arrived there was a dishwasher full of dirty dishes and zero clean silverware. Ants were crawling all around the kitchen and there was no dish soap. Lastly there was no shower soap or shampoo (only a half used bar of soap) and mold in the shower. Also be advised the property is immediately adjacent to the Big Bear Airport. Cost effective option but know what you’re getting!

Great spot but wasn’t cleaned
The place was nice for what we needed, but there was a major ant problem in the kitchen. The nonworking dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, and the exterior in both the yard & driveway were totally overgrown with lots of trash. Old sunfaded beer cans that have definitely been there a while. We tried to vacuum, but that didn’t really work either, so we just made the best of it.

Great location!
Located walking distance from the convention center, this cozy little home was a perfect place to enjoy a comfortable nights sleep after a long afternoon at Octoberfest. I will definitely be re-booking for next year :)
