A tear down cabin
Never the one to post anything negative I can tell this is by far the worst vacation I have ever booked. Cob webs everywhere, cabin had a very unpleasant odor and was over all not fit for inhabitants! Add to that the floor had a 6 degree plus pitch to it. Me girlfriend stated it was giving her vertigo....if it was possible to give it zero stars I would.. Profoudly dispointed!

Convenient location for skiing/snowboarding - five minute walk to a gondola center that takes you to Canyon Lodge (another 10 minute ride); clean and comfortable. Easy access to a community hot tub/sauna. Cheers

Weekend Retreat
It was a very nice two day get away. Beautiful views and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets made for great mealtime ambience. The deck is a wonderful place to sit relax and visit. The kitchen was very adequately supplied. The coffee maker should be replaced. It took some effort to work the grill but once we figured out the igniter wasn't working and that there was a timer on the gas line it worked fine. Everything was clean and well supplied. It is very homie. Too many remotes for me but the kids were able to figure them out. Something of a path down to the lake would be nice to not have to fight the weeds. We did have a problem with the sewer line but they were very prompt about getting someone out to fix it. And the repair crew (Plumbers) were very nice. I look forward to doing it again!

Things noted that can use improvement.
1. Upstairs bedroom door cannot be closed from the outside. Doorknob missing. 2. Coffee pot is not operational....it took a good hour for the water to go through the filter.

Sept. & Oct. are perfect times to be here. Bring a book, some booze, buy some groceries and your set!! Hope to get back one day!!

The cabin is old original
The cabin had character and was neat and clean. They really do need to get a new bed in the downstairs bedroom though. It's listed as a king size--not true. And it is very soft and mushy :( Also, if the thermostat seems like there is air conditioning...there is not. Fans available though.

Nice view but cottage dated
The best part of this cottage was the view out to the lake. The interior is quite dated and it can get quite stuffy in the bedrooms at night as the air-conditioning doesn't work. The deck was very nice though. There is a bbq grill and we could sit on the deck for our meals with a view of the lake. The cleaning fee was pretty expensive and despite charging us, we are still expected to take our trash with us and put the dishes away when we check out. View is rated 4 stars and the cottage is rated 3 stars

Just what we needed.
The property could use a deep cleaning. There is a bit of a slant to the house. Aside from those things it was just what my family and I needed. Time away, disconnected and just being together. Beautiful lake view, convenient location and enough space for my family of 5.

Great location but could use a little work
The location, patio and view were exactly what we were looking for; however, the property itself could use a little TLC. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to relax and look out at the lake, but just know what to expect going in.

So much potential
This little cabin has so much potential but needs some TLC. The roof was even falling off! Seems like the owners or property management company have given up on it :( could have so much charm we were ready to buy it and start scrubbing and painting!

Good for a quick Summer Get-Away
The property location is great. We wanted a little mountain get away and this has the decor and furniture of a rustic cabin in the woods. It is a pretty easy walk into town, and to nearby stores and restaurants. The patio is great, shaded but you can see the lake and mountain. The kitchen and fridge worked as needed and I wish we would have brought something to grill out for dinner 1 night. Bed was comfortable and the place was clean but for dusty carpet, but I am sure that will be addressed. Easy check-in/check-out. We would stay there again, but we might bring a couple more people with us next time.

Ant problems
Beautiful location, but it has a serious ant problem. Long story short, we ended up having to keep anything food related in the fridge, even garbage. Anything left out in the kitchen would result in an infestation. Even a travel bag we had in the livingroom that we forgot had food in it was infested after our first night there. We dealt with the situation and tried to make the best of the weekend, but we had to throw away a good amount of food and wasted a few hours over the long weekend killing ants, not really how you want to spend a vacation.

Very nice cabin, beautiful views and great location.
We stayed here for a few nights on a family Christmas vacation. Everything went very smoothly. The cabin itself is a little creeky and everyone has to share one bathroom. Otherwise we thought it was one of the better values for our money, especially being next to the lake and so close to the village. The views in the picture aren't exaggerated... they are great and seeing snow summit lit up at night from the room will make you force yourself to go out there and find your inner skier/snowboarder if you haven't already. I would highly recommend this place for a family of 5 or maybe for two couples.
