We had a great stay over the weekend. The cabin was clean and cozy. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. The location is perfect… super close to the village and slopes. The teenagers were actually able to walk back from Snow Summit! Very pleased.

Cute cabin with nice quiet location
Loved the little cabin on a quiet cul de sac. It was very cozy and fireplace and spa a plus. I’m only giving 4 stars due to dust and spider(s). Also, some disrepair broken chair, stairs to bunk bed, outside fence. Property management offered to fix, but who wants their vacay disrupted? Also, no paper products or soap upon arrival but management was super speedy in bringing them. Lastly, the steep narrow steps are no joke! Make sure you are sure footed and strong enough to carry your suitcase!

Great Property
The property location was great. Quiet neighborhood, close to hiking trails, beautiful in the snow. Very clean, but a couple of things that needed repair (like the ladder on the bunkbed). Our only complaint was that they gave us a code to the door that didn't work, so it took some texts and some extra time to actually get into the property.

Overall excellent!
Everything was good. Only thing is that heater was so loud when it runs. I think because it is old house. And stair is so steep for my grandson. Everything else was perfect.

Vacation with Grandkids
Wonderful time with family. The outdoor games made our time even more enjoyable. There were plenty of kids games and activities. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Exposed metal bolts in backyard concrete should be removed to prevent tripping hazards. Great place for 4 adults and two young kids. It would be nice to have replacement trash liners for trash cans.

Great location
The location was great. All was clean but there were a lot of things that either didn’t work or work right (Keurig ). Also the stairs are so steep and narrow that they are hard to carry luggage up. Really steep. I wouldn’t think this could be to code. Anyway, that being said, it was a fun weekend!

Great location!
Everything was great about this cabin other than the upstairs bathroom. The shower is not user friendly and very outdated. There’s a trick to making it turn on and the instructions emailed do not make it any easier. When I called to ask for more details even the person on the phone couldn’t help so they had to send a maintenance guy who showed up within 2hrs. So we had to wait to shower in that bathroom which we were not happy about. It even took the maintenance guy a few minutes to figure it out and he even thought it was a really weird shower. I would recommend that they have a photo to show you what to do to turn it on going forward.

Wonderful Location and Amenities
This property is located at the end of a quiet street and has a nice big driveway. The hot tub was a big bonus and was fun to relax in. The roku tv in the living room worked well and we had a lot of fun cooking meals in the kitchen. It is about a mile walk into town with all of the cute big bear shops. I would definitely stay at this property again. The only issue we had was during the initial check in. The electronic code provided didn't work until about the tenth time we tried it. When we contacted Turnkey Rentals for support, they responded quickly, which was appreciated. I am required by FTC regulations to disclose that I am receiving a gift card for writing this review.

Lovely Retreat Away
I was looking for a nice cabin to get away for my 40th bday in COVID times, and this place was a great fit for a low-key 4 night getaway. It snowed a few days before our arrival and that made it all the more better! Highlights: -Hot Tub - worked well for daily soaks in the back, and the washer/dryer in the laundry room made drying towels and suits easy. -Fireplace & huge TV - We spent most evenings with a fire burning and chill tunes on the TV with the Roku app. We just logged in to some of our apps and had the entertainment comfort we have at home. -Kitchen - Clean, spacious, and awesome gas-burning stove for cooking. Plenty of kitchen tools/cookware to use, and we cooked 90% of our meals there. -Backcountry trails - The house sits at the end of the street where the hiking trails begin and that was awesome to not have to drive anywhere to start a snowy hike. Just had two small issues: -Coffee Pot is a dual Kuerig k-pot and full coffee pot machine, but it would not brew a pot of coffee the entire time. We ended up having to go to Starbucks each morning, which wasn't bad but I hope they get that fixed for future guests. -Kitchen garbage disposal did not work. Just that humming noise where it was trying to kick in. Not awful, but just meant a slower drain and hopefully they get that fixed. All in all a great little spot and we would definitely stay again.

What a place to stay! We Loved IT!
The place was spotless, beautifully cleaned. There were Tide Pods left out, Tide Detergent left out for us to wash dishes and wash clothes. Everything in the entire home worked perfectly, the Jacuzzi was amazing, it was 29 degree's outside most of the week i stood there and i was in the Jacuzzi in the evening every night. TV's that had ROKU built in nearly every single room. Except the room i stood inclosest to the kitchen, that room had no TV, i'd say having one in there would be nice but it's no dealbreaker. This place is great! All the darts were there, even the dry erase marker worked. Horseshoes were so much fun with the kids. We will absolutely rent again hopefully before the year is over if Big Bear gets some snow this year and we can get a reservation in enough time. The only 1 gripe i have is the cost of cleaning. It's a double edged sword because the place was so clean when i got there i was extremely happy. I was just sour it was that much is all. :D We will be back! Thank you for letting us stay!
