"For the history lover, this house is in a good location. Lots of State parks and historic towns to browse., shop and eat at. South Mountain Creamery is fun to visit! Great ice cream! However, it could have been cleaned better. The parking is a tight area that is next to a road on a hill that cars and trucks go buzzy by. There are big bushes that obstruct your view. "We came from Upstate New York to enjoy a Christmas gathering with local family and friends. Our overnight group totaled five and we hosted a game night that totaled fourteen. Ample room for festivities with all of the amenities that we needed. The house waslovely, clean, and exceeded our expectations. The property owner was attentive prior to the trip and friendly to work with. We will stay again when our travel brings us to back to the Middletown/Frederick, MD, area - soon! Thank you! "

"While I’m just a fan fave of Country Inn-THE SERVICE at this location was par excellence! We had 7 rooms and were large group from toddlers to seniors and we were all accommodated! From the regional manager to the front desk staff on ALL shifts, hospitality was in great form. Even the breakfast staff/service was amazing! We’re already planning to come back! "We had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We stayed here for its proximity to the Whitetail ski area, for we enjoy shredding the gnar. The wifi worked wonderfully for remote work. We were surprised to learn there is a a hot tub in the pool area as it was not listed or shown in any of the photos. There is an exercise room which is open 24/7 to allowed pumping of iron at any time. The included breakfast was tasty and filled our bellies with the nourishment we needed to dominate all the slopes...

"This property was very clean and updated. We stayed here to visit Whitetail Resort. The front desk staff was great and got us checked in very quickly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that was slightly lacking was the breakfast in the morning. It was fine, but everything needs to be made by Chef Mike Rowave. This is a place we would return to if needed."
