Located on 5 acres of private forest, down a long driveway, with a private wrap around deck, outdoor dining + firepit + indoor fireplace. Washer + dryer are downstairs in the basement.

You’re only a short drive to town but also very much in the woods, our house is situated on Birch Creek, just beneath vast mountains + endless nature that opens up into the Catskill Mountains.

Lovely creekside cabin
We enjoyed a very peaceful two days with lovely hiking close by, plenty of great food and lots of lush garden for the dogs to roam around. The cabin was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and everything required for a pleasant stay.

A needed respite
This little cabin was perfect for our family of 3 plus big dog. Both our son and those of friends who live nearby absolutely loved playing on the deck and in the several cleared lawns and our pup delighted in running the circuit path that connected to the main road. Beds were comfy; decor chic and simple. This was also one of the best - stocked short term rentals we’ve ever had in terms of both kitchen gear and basic ingredients. Our one qualm which is admittedly so minor is that the stylish SMEG refrigerator really was too small for many standard items you’d want for a week (gallon of milk for instance, being able to put a dozen eggs edge on so they’re more accessible, etc) and the door creates such a seal that given the handle placement, you sometimes felt like the whole thing was going to tip. But if fridge design is the literally only thing you feel like pointing out, it’s an indication of how lovely the rest is! Anne was responsive and we look forward to staying at Birch Creek House again.

Cozy and comfortable winter getaway
Good location for a short getaway. Nicely stocked cabin, comfortable for our family of four. We enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very friendly. Just minutes away from the slopes and restaurants.
