Cozy Condo in the Heart of Downtown BigFork

This 486 square foot, 1 bed and 1 bath condo is located in the heart of Bigfork.

A stroll through the village of Bigfork reveals a vibrant arts culture. Along Electric Avenue there are art galleries, artists-in-residence, live community theater, as well as summer concerts in Sliter Park. The condo is located downtown and is just steps from a variety of bars, shops, cafes, bakeries, fine and casual restaurants, Bigfork Bay, Flathead Lake, and the Swan River Nature Trail.

This unit comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, with a pull-out couch. A new memory foam mattress has been added to the pull-out couch for a better sleep. The unit can accommodate 4 adults if they are willing to share 2 beds and a bathroom located in the bedroom.

This second-floor condo features two Adirondack chairs on the front porch to take in the sights and sounds of the Swan River and downtown Bigfork. Stay warm with forced-air heating and cool with central air conditioning. The condo has a smart TV and a DVD player in the main living area with books, puzzles, and games to keep everyone entertained.

Connected to the living room is a spacious bedroom for sleeping in with a king size bed and smart TV. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower, and a toilet with a bidet, stocked with a hairdryer, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The fully stocked kitchenette has pots, pans, dishes, microwave oven, electric cooktop, toaster oven, mini refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, soda stream, coffee maker, coffee grinder, glassware, and flatware. The kitchen comes stocked with coffee and other cooking essentials. The unit includes a washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. It also comes with a pack-and-play for guests traveling with small children and infants.

In addition to stairway access, there is a public elevator available and plenty of outside parking. Downtown street parking is also available for your use. We have free wireless internet available so you can stay connected with family and friends. (There is no land line phone, but cell service is widely available.) Dogs are allowed, but there is a pet fee and you must let us know in advance. The condo comes stocked with dog water and food bowls.

Flathead Lake, which Bigfork Bay empties into, offers boating, fishing, and many other water sports. There is also rafting, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fly fishing in the local rivers.

In the winter enjoy cross country skiing at Bigfork Community Nordic trails and Blacktail Mountain Nordic trails groomed by the North Shore Nordic Club. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing can also be found in and around Glacier National Park and at Big Mountain in Whitefish. For those that prefer downhill skiing and snowboarding check out Big Mountain in Whitefish and Blacktail Mountain in Lakeside.

In the summer hike the Swan River Nature Trail, Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall and Jewel Basin Wilderness Areas, or enjoy excellent golf courses, including Eagle Bend Golf Course in Bigfork. The Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork has horses for rent while the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell and the Blue Moon Cafe in Columbia Falls have rodeos to attend during the summer months. Enjoy Glacier National Park and its sister, Canada's Waterton Lakes Park, and all they have to offer. You can immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the wilderness they are both known for. Millions of acres of untamed wilderness surround you! Don't miss the 4th of July fireworks on the lake, and the free summer concerts in Sliter Park.

The apartment was lovely, although not as big as the photos suggested. It says that someone could sleep on the couch, but that would be pretty hard since it's more like a studio than a one bedroom.

Great Location
The location can’t be beat. Stayed with our two young kids and were able to enjoy the live music from the bar across the street, from patio while they slept. We walked to several restaurants and parks as well.

Bigfork Trip
Great location right downtown Bigfork. This is located on second floor of building and has an elevator. This was home base as we spent three days driving around the larger Flathead area looking for property. Very quiet and quaint town with cute shops and restaurants.

Perfect Little Condo in Heart of Bigfork
We had everything we needed here and more. It was a lovely condo. We enjoyed the large balcony for sitting outside. The California king bed was so comfy! We liked the fact that the bedroom was separate from the living area. Great location and very responsive host!

Perfect!
Me and my husband stayed here with our one year old. The condo was clean and equipped with all of the items we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed being super close to all of the shops and restaurants in Bigfork and also loved how close Glacier National Park was!

AWESOME STAY
Super clean and cute condo. Bed was very comfy. Spacious kitchen. Easy to walk to town-literally just around the corner. Coffee shop across the street. Neighbors were a little loud early in the morning - we could hear their tv. I would definitely stay here again. It met all my expectations.

Bigfork relaxing
Overall it was good. Great location.in the afternoon the sun is extremely glaring hot in the deck(a shade of some sort?) and I thought we’d have an easy access to the creek behind us. But it was safe and we did enjoy hearing music on the weekend nights..we could walk most anywhere in town!

Great location, convenient, easy
Great spot to stay connected to everything Big Fork has to offer! Loved being able to walk everywhere and be connected to the town. Big Fork is fantastic and a great vibe. Music is loud late into the night with nearby venue (back bedroom is relatively quiet once doors all shut, front room harder to control noise). Clean and easy to use spot with good amenities. Stayed with my two daughers (3 guests total). Only thing we could have used were bath / shower products. None available and missed after long travel day. Thanks for a great stay!

This place should not be listed by VRBO.
Hard to find - host finally called me to help. It’s an office building! Bedroom doesn’t legally qualify as bedroom as there’s no window or natural light source. Second “bed” is a cheap, lumpy, uneven fold-out, and person staying there has to go through bedroom to get to bathroom. Floor was grungy, and when we opened hide-a-bed we found old popcorn and mussed sheets. Fridge is tiny and you have to stand on your head to get stuff in and out. You say this accommodates four - ha! - so why give us such a tiny coffee pot? One bright spot is the washer/dryer on site - very helpful. Neighborhood is lovely and lively, but this office conversion was badly done.

No Power and no communication
We arrived at the property around 12:30am and discovered that there was no power. We tried contacting the property manager but got no answer. We didn't have much choice so we stayed the first night w/o power (luckily it wasn't too cold). When we got up we tried the manager again w/ no answer (email or phone). Later that day we tried calling again and this time we received a message that number was no longer taking any more calls. We then tried to go through VRBO and they couldn't get a hold of the manager either. This is when we decided that we had to get accommodations elsewhere. The next day (48 hours after our initial call) we received a call telling us the power had been fixed but by this time we had already setup accommodations elsewhere. We have used VRBO quite a bit and this was a very disappointing experience. We never did get any type of explanation as to why the power was out or why we couldn't contact the manager for over 48 hours.
