From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The room was comfortable & toiletries were provided. We had an evening meal there, and food was wonderful. The staff and owner were first class, I'd definitely recommend staying there.

Unbeatable for the money.

Fantastic find, really well priced and the accommodation as well as the breakfast were spot on. The chap who booked us in and took care of everything (sorry I didn't get your name) was excellent. Will definitely use this place again.

room was very comfy with good quality towels and bedding. the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was excellent, good breakfast menu, well cooked. Maria, who served us, was very attentive with a lovely sense of humour. She is also responsible for the cleaning of the bedrooms too, doing an all round brilliant job.

A really great find

Could be such a gem.

Positive first - Staff great. Friendly and warm. Negative- Dinner had to be returned. Should have been rare steak but was dry as a bone and well cooked. Bed was lumpy, needed replacing, room clean but in need of lots of tlc. Curtains thin (lining to darken the room) and needed re-hooking, porcelain cracked in bath and black mould around rim. Lots of marks on furniture and walls.

For a one night stay it was a great price.

The service was outstanding, staff on duty during my stay were above and beyond nice. They made me feel like a regular with how friendly they were. The food was delicious both evening and breakfast. Check in and check out was easy. The room I had was not like any images on the website but the bed was comfy and it was as clean as they could make it (needs updating, black bits in corner of bath seal and carpet needs modernisation). For the price I paid it did me for the night and incredible price with the quality and variety of choice for breakfast. I had the eggs florentine. If I was staying for longer I would have requested one of the newer looking rooms.

A satisfying stop over in a friendly country pub

The pub was strangely quiet for a Friday night, but we enjoyed our stay because the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and there was a good range of drinks on offer

I would return without hesitation

Huge room with a big comfortable bed. The ensuite was also large and had a lovely large corner bath. Food was top notch both in the evening and breakfast. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

staff are very helpful. The food was amazing, but there is a little room for improvement on the accommodation marks on the walls. TV aerial cable draped over light fittings, and personally I would’ve liked blackout curtains as the room was very illuminated from outside lighting. but that said I would definitely stay there again.
