"What an amazing place to stay reasonable priced and the owner made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. I cannot recommend this place enough it was clean tidy fresh the breakfast was amazing. The bed was wow I’ve not slept so well in years and my partner Thought it was just perfect too. "one night stay (22/02/2025). The doorman and check in staff were really friendly. Found out the hotel was recently refurbished. It looked really clean and had a homely character. Really cool feature was the framed pictures of their archives including ledgers and historical photos of the hotel, which they had found in a storeroom during the renovation. "The property is lovely. We had a look around when we got there and its spacious with plenty of storage. There was tea and sugar in the cupboards as well as a comprehensive welcome pack including a map and the menus of nearby takeaways. The beds are comfy, the sofa is comfy, the shower was good, theres also a downstairs bathroom whcih was great as we were 3 people. Would definitely stay here again."
