"Its a small basic motel in a central location with parking outside of your room. Room itself was a good size, clean with a small kitchenet. WiFi is good and LCD TV. Its keyless entry, ie no reception and with a passcode being sent via email and/or sms a few hours before check in - this worked perfectly. We would stay here again."

Staff did indicate Spa in my room was not functional, and I agreed, so not a complaint. "Our room was disappointing. The decor is very tired and was very dirty and worn. Merivale should be embarrassed to have it in their stable in its current state. It is in a great place and a renovation would make this a great place to stay, until this happens there are many better options in Narooma."

"there was no light at the motel entrance. It was disficult to locate the property in the dark. The room with cockroaches crawling around. The WiFi is bad. The owner said that we haven't booked the place and the cleaner threw all the food we kept in the fridge without checking my booking properly first. Although the owner bought back some food for us but we still lost some yummy food. This was a bad experience."
