"I ws disappointed when I arrived as the restaurant was not open, and restaurants in nearby villages were not open on a Monday night. At least I got a sandwich in the local SPAR. The room was comforatble enough but was quite small but was clean. I was booked for two nights but decided to move somewhere else for the second night that had a restaurant that was open. "

"Falkland is a beautiful Scottish village. The hotel is on the main street. There are a few coffee shops nearby. There is a great deli next to the hotel & the lady who runs it was so accommodating. "I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. "Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"We went for 4 nights golfing and the Hotel du Vin was a brilliant choice of where to stay. Short walk to the Old Course and perfect to walk to bars and restaurants in the evening.
