The Space:
Main Floor: Step into the house and straight ahead is the kitchen, stocked with all essential utensils to prepare a nice homemade dinner. The kitchen has been nicely updated with subway tile and stainless appliances. The comfortable living room features a 50 inch smart TV and Roku. There are three bedrooms on this floor. The master suite has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a shared hall bath with shower/tub.
Basement: There is one bedroom in the basement with two full beds. The washer and dryer are also on this floor.
Outside: Enjoy the fantastic back deck and large backyard with wooded perimeter. Savor conversation over cheese and crackers on the two cushioned benches. Have breakfast at the glass patio table. Make tasty burgers on the grill. Down the deck stairs, you can throw the pigskin in the spacious grassy yard (unfenced).
Parking: Parking available for one car in driveway shared with neighbor. Please park courteously on the left side of the driveway. There is well-lit street parking as well.
Accessibility: There are stairs down to the basement bedrooms and stairs down from the back deck to the yard.
Guest Access:
The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code at check-in. You will have access to the full house, and back yard. There are no other tenants or guests on the property.
The Neighborhood:
Avondale is a young, buzzing area known for its trendy coffee shops and craft breweries, live music venues, and an eclectic mix of restaurants, from gourmet comfort food spots to traditional BBQ joints. Avondale Park features a century-old rose garden, a duck pond, and an outdoor amphitheater used for concerts and festivals. Scattered shops sell well-curated vintage clothing and secondhand goods.
Getting Around:
Our home is in a prime location with easy access to all Avondale has to offer. Less than 2 miles to great food, shopping and entertainment. Driving yourself should be an easy process to navigate or you can take advantage of Uber/Lyft!
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
There is a horizontal Patio, Washer and Dryer, and a generous-sized backyard.
Guest Access Details:
Parking: House has a private driveway for parking.
Guest Access: You can use the front door as the Main Access.
Prohibited Areas: Please do not go under the house or on top of the roof.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
